Although these writers are not administrators or editors, they are still a big part of the QL project. Queensland for me it’s been a really personal thing since the beginning as it was created by me and my sister Lara a few years ago but, unfortunately, the things didn’t end up as I wanted because, we both had our schedules, living in different cities so we couldn’t share our thoughts so slowly we stop writing and posting what we really wanted.

Catarina Nascimento

  I’m a ’95 girl, born and raised in Lisbon Portugal. I first challenged Rani to start a blog without knowing of Queensland existed. Once I learned about it, the decision to join my friend on the pursuit of our shared interests and sharing them with the world was an obvious one. My handle everywhere is @catebirth, since that is the direct translation of my name to English.

I’m an Aussie ’95 girl and since I can remember I’ve been exploring all my interests and passions. I’ve always been interested in fashion (I even wanted to be a model) and “lifestyle” issues. I also like to travel and write. When I became a little older and wiser, I realized that to put together all my interests I should create a blog and share them with the world.
